Diffblue, the Oxford-based world leader in AI for code, today announces the appointment of Jeremy Perlman as Chief Revenue Officer. Perlman will lead Diffblue’s marketing and sales efforts. He will focus on global expansion of Diffblue’s products, which use AI to improve the productivity of software developers.

Jeremy has over 20 years experience in the technology sector, having previously been VP for EMEA Sales at Trifacta, the Google-backed global data preparation provider which raised $48m in a Series D funding round in January 2018.

Prior to Trifacta, Jeremy served as the Managing Director for EMEA of Apigee, the full lifecycle API management platform, ahead of its IPO and acquisition by Google. Perlman also led go-to-market activities at Ribbit, which was acquired by BT. Jeremy holds an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

His appointment follows the announcement of Jane Silber, the former CEO of Canonical, as Chair in April this year. These senior management hires have been put in place to help execute on Daniel Kroening’s vision for Diffblue following its raise of $22 million in Series A funding from Goldman Sachs Principal Strategic Investments and Oxford Sciences Innovation (OSI).

“Jeremy brings proven experience scaling enterprise software companies and joins at a exciting time in the development of our business” said Daniel Kroening, CEO, Diffblue. “I’d like to welcome Jeremy to the Diffblue team and look forward to working alongside him as we continue to grow.”

“Diffblue is perfectly positioned to help leading global companies, from enterprises with legacy code issues to digital natives working to maintain their edge” said Perlman. “I look forward to joining the team and helping to enable developers and their organisations be more productive with AI for their Code.”
