Peter Schrammel
Peter Schrammel is CTO and co-founder of Diffblue, an AI software engineering company pioneering autonomous unit test generation for enterprise codebases. Founded as a spin-out from the University of Oxford in 2016, Diffblue applies artificial intelligence, formal methods, and program analysis to automate complex software engineering tasks at scale.
Peter has deep expertise in program analysis, automated verification, and AI-driven software engineering, with nearly two decades of experience spanning enterprise software development, embedded systems, and research. Prior to founding Diffblue, he was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sussex and held software engineering and research roles across industry and academia.
At Diffblue, Peter leads the company’s technical vision and development of autonomous AI agents designed to help enterprises modernize software safely, accelerate development cycles, and improve software quality. His work focuses on bringing reliability, scalability, and engineering rigor to AI-assisted software development.
